Yet when we engage in hard-fought ideological battles, we will all lose in the long run if disrespect blinds us to the potential that on some other issue, at some other time, the adversaries of today can be our most effective allies tomorrow. Such coalitions and partnerships become less and less likely the more disrespectful we become.
i’ll never forget this somewhat rainy and dreary day at Bamboozle two years ago. Valencia gave us a reason to believe and i am so thankful of that. hopefully the band takes the time it needs and hopefully they’ll come back to us with even better music then before. thank you valencia. i hope you know how much your music has meant to so many.

Just how good it felt to be surrounded
By a town that we knew like the back of our hands.

“Are you sick of getting drunk and poking someone you shouldn’t? Like a co-worker, someone you met five minutes ago, or your cousin? I’m proud to introduce a feature called ‘The Slow Poke.’ It’s the only poke that takes 24 hours to reach the person you send it to, so you have a full day to sober up, realize you’re an idiot, and retract the poke.”

if today’s the day i die,
lay me down under the lights.
let me fall in love,
and let me save a life.let me lose my voice
singing all my favorite songs,
let me stare up at the stars,
cuz it’s where we all belong.i’m living louder
dreaming longer tonight
i’m fighting harder,
loving stronger tonight.
we’re all just kids who grew up way too fast.
the good die young, but the great will always last.-amd
